Subscribing to the E-dn service

Ideal Computer Systems, Inc.

1. If you have not already done so, install the software upgrade provided by Ideal. For your convenience, Ideal's instructions have been posted here.
2. Once the upgrade has been installed, you can reach the Trading Partner Activation Site from within the BMS program.

3. First try to log in by using your ten digit phone number without dashes as both your User Code and Password.
   

4. If successful, your information will appear on the Company Information page. Please make sure it is correct, and if desired, you may change your username and password here. Click the Continue button and skip to the Activating Dixie Sales as a Trading Partner section below.
5. If you receive a Cannot read dealer for supplied data. Please check the username and password and try again, click the Sign up now button.
   

6. Enter the information requested on the Company Information screen. Those fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
   

7. Read and accept the license agreement.
8. Make note of your Usercode and Password and click the Continue button.

Activating Dixie Sales as a Trading Partner.

1. Under Add Trading Partner, check the Dixie Sales box.
2. Check the Integrated DMS box.
3. Under Vendor Code, enter the supplier code used in your DMS system here.
4. Enter your Dixie Sales account # in the Account Number field.
5. There is nothing needed for Trading Partner Username or Password. Leave this space blank.
6. Click Update to save your information.
   

7. You will need to register what manufacturer codes your system uses with us before your orders can be processed. Please complete this form to insure your orders are processed correctly.
8. You will need to be sure to send a valid Ship Method along with your orders. Use the following two to three character codes.
   • UPS - UPS Ground
   • AI1 - UPS Next Day Air
   • AI2 - UPS Second Day Air
   • FC - Freight Collect
   • PU - Pick Up
   • FRT - Freight
   • US1 - UPS Next Day Air Saturday
   • AIG - UPS Next Day Air Georgia
   • BWG - Best Way Ground
   • BWA - Best Way Air
   • US2 - UPS Ground GA season zone
   • PM - Priority Mail
   • UP3 - UPS Three Day Select
   • RPS - Roadway Parcel Service

   Note: If you send an invalid Ship Method, you should receive a list of valid ones.

9. You are now ready to perform queries and submit orders through your Ideal system. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
